Course Details

  • This is a trade qualification for carpenters in residential and commercial workplaces. It includes setting out, manufacturing, constructing, assembling, installing

    and repairing products made using timber and non-timber materials.

    Occupational titles may include:
    • Carpenter - Commercial
    • Carpenter - Formwork
    • Carpenter - Residential

    This qualification is suitable for an Australian apprenticeship pathway

  • Fee: $6,800.00 including administration, training & assessment, & learning resources. A deposit of $1,500.00 is required for enrolment and the balance will be paid after course commencement. (Fee structure will be negotiated with students according to their needs). For refund policy please refer to student handbook (cooling off period 7 days).

    Recognition of Prior Learning Pathway Cost: $3500 Credit Transfer will be provided for same units previously trained.

    The competencies within this qualification may be attained through previous or current training, work experience, and/or life experience. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) considers previous attainments which are measured against the specific performance criteria for each full unit or partial unit of competence. CONSTRUCTION TRAINING HUB is able to provide guidelines and assistance in undertaking Recognition of Prior Learning, Construction Training Hub Management will assess existing skills and knowledge as part of the enrollment process. Cost: $3500 Credit Transfer will be provided for same units previously trained.

  • Prior to enrolling on any course with CONSTRUCTION TRAINING HUB, participants should familiarise themselves with our specific

    Code of Practice which include information about complaint & appeal etc. These are detailed in the student handbook that will be obtained from CONSTRUCTION TRAINING HUB upon request or can be downloaded from our website.

The Volume of learning for this qualification is: 1-2 years, to achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in: 34 units of competency: 27 core units, 7 elective units. Students have 2 years to complete the course if they have chosen to do so. There are no entry requirement to this course.
