Course Details

  • This qualification reflects the role of builders, site managers and managers of small to medium-sized building businesses who apply knowledge of structural principles, codes, standards and legal requirements to Class 1 and 10, to a maximum of two storeys and Class 2 to 9 Type C constructions, and who plan and supervise safe building and construction work, prepare and administer contracts, and who apply quality principles to building and construction projects.

  • $5,700.00 including administration, training & assessment, & learning resources. A deposit of $1,500.00 is required for enrolment and the balance will be paid after course commencement. (Fee structure will be negotiated with students according to their needs). For refund policy please refer to student handbook (cooling off period 7 days).

    The competencies within this qualification may be attained through previous or current training, work experience, and/or life experience. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) considers previous attainments which are measured against the specific performance criteria for each full unit or partial unit of competence. CONSTRUCTION TRAINING HUB is able to provide guidelines and assistance in undertaking Recognition of Prior Learning, Construction Training Hub

    Management will assess existing skills and knowledge as part of the enrollment process.

    Credit Transfer will be provided for same units previously trained.

Subjects Studied & Duration:

The volume of learning for this qualification is: 0.5-2 years, to achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in: 19 units of competency: 11 core units and 8 elective units. (Students have 2 years to complete the course if they have chosen to do so) There are no entry requirements to this course. An asterisk (*) next to the unit code indicates that there are prerequisite requirements which must be met when packaging the qualification.
